Miroslaw Izienicki, President & CEO
Miroslaw Izienicki is a career International Banker with significant management experience including new, difficult and high-risk assignments. He has developed Fifth Capital into a thought leader on the subject of Governance led Wealth Creation. Previous to his current role he held the position of Head of Corporate Finance at Nikko Europe Plc, the international headquarters of The Nikko Securities Co Ltd of Tokyo.
He possesses substantial knowledge across Investment, Private and Commercial banking sectors at large and has particular experience of managing complex multi-stakeholder mandates with a focus on i. Emerging Market Privatisations (including the interface/equilibrium between Commercial, Political and Social imperatives), Financial Institutions at large and the Alternative Investment sector and ii. the establishment of direct investment vehicles including asset classes such as Infrastructure, Real Estate, Shipping and Oil & Gas whether arising from investor demand, corporate disposal or asset restructuring/work out.
Professor Robert Bishop, Head of Research
Professor Robert Bishop’s areas of expertise include Philosophy of Natural Sciences, Philosophy of Social Sciences and Nonlinear Dynamics/ Modeling; he is currently the Associate Professor of Physics and Philosophy and the John and Madeleine McIntyre Professor of History and Philosophy of Science at Wheaton College, Illinois.
He studied Physics and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin in the USA and has taught at leading institutions including the LSE, University of Oxford and Rice University; Professor Bishop has published numerous articles on topics ranging from Nonlinear Dynamics to The Foundations of Physics and Psychology and his most recent book entitled The Philosophy of the Social Sciences was published in July 2007.
